Additional Notes

Traveling students must adhere to all jurisdictional guidelines and/or regulations of their host country and host institution.

While we make every effort to prepare students for a successful trip overseas, circumstances may arise that are beyond our control including the evolving COVID-19 global pandemic.

Students who participate on a global opportunity must accept as a condition of participation the possibility that the program may be cancelled or terminated early due to concerns over the safety and security of students. If cancellation or termination occurs, participants may encounter additional and unexpected financial and academic implications. Seneca will work to mitigate negative implications to the best of its ability.

International students at Seneca are required to meet with an immigration specialist to ensure their program of study and/or study permit will not be negatively impacted by travelling abroad. This must take place as soon as possible in the application process. Immigration specialists can be reached at theservicehub@senecacollege.ca

All students traveling to Ecuador are advised, not required, to have the yellow fever vaccination.

All students who do not hold a valid Canadian passport are advised to consult the Ecuadorian Embassy in Toronto to confirm their visa requirements by contacting embassy@embassyecuador.ca or by calling 613.563.8206.
