MCU Parliamentary Assistant Natalie Pierre visits Newnham Campus

Natalie Pierre, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Colleges and Universities, and MPP, Burlington, visited Newnham Campus on Monday, Feb. 6.

President David Agnew led the tour, with stops at the Mechatronics Lab, Seneca Innovation, The Pond, The Flight Hub and Odeyto.

MPP Pierre also met with Mohamed Dhanani, Vice-President, Stakeholder Engagement and Business Development, Christine Blake, Associate Vice-President, Students, and Rachel Morris-Ohm, Director, Personal Support and Intervention, to talk about mental health services and supports at Seneca.

Student Ambassadors Nidhi Ahir, Gabriel Lopez Morales and Ruby Chen also had the opportunity to talk to MPP Pierre about mental health initiatives.

This was the MPP Pierre’s first campus tour. She also paid a visit to Seneca’s hologram display at the 2022 Ontario College Fair.
