York Region has produced a heartwarming video that highlights the important role that Early Childhood Educators provide for children to have a bright and successful future.

In the video, some of Seneca’s very own School of Early Childhood Education (ECE) students, graduates and professors are seen, like Carol Liao, a current Seneca School of Early Childhood Education student, and Barbara Pytka, Professor, School of Early Childhood Education.

Seneca is currently receiving $3 million from York Region as part of the Child Care and Early Years Workforce Funding, which was announced at the end of 2022. These funds are being used to establish an ECE bursary program that will be available to domestic students through to the Fall 2023 Term.
