Seneca students and faculty will soon be able to enjoy a new Blackboard user interface that is more modern, personalized and intuitive.

Over the next year, courses on Blackboard will be converted to Blackboard Ultra, starting with close to 100 courses from across Seneca this summer. The goal is to have all courses converted by fall 2023.

Blackboard Ultra provides the resources and tools needed for a more mobile-friendly and accessible learning management system.

Benefits for students include the ability to express their gender identity, visually identify and track progress, filter different types of questions when taking a test and launch virtual sessions directly from the calendar.
