Olela, a seven-year-old mare retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Musical Ride, has found a caring sanctuary at Seneca Polytechnic's School of Health Sciences. Chosen out of hundreds of applicants due to her unique medical needs, Olela will receive ongoing care from Seneca's veterinary students as she makes a heart-warming transition from service to comfort.

The RCMP Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized for supporting front-line police operations by building positive relationships, supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the RCMP's image in communities in Canada and around the world.
