The ingenuity of our students was on full display March 16 at the finals of this year’s Hackathon.

Hosted by Seneca, Hackathon brings together students from postsecondary institutions in Toronto and beyond each year to brainstorm actionable solutions to a selected real-world challenge.

Participating students receive mentoring from subject-specific specialists and see their work evaluated by a panel of experts.

This year’s Hackathon was organized around the theme of housing, which was broken down further into the categories of affordable housing solutions, community well-being, housing tech and student housing.

Congratulations to the winning teams, everyone who participated and all the volunteers who worked hard to make this year’s Hackathon a success!
