We are #SenecaProud of our Seneca Sting varsity teams who have been a force to be reckoned with in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA).

Badminton

Congratulations to the following members of our Seneca Sting badminton teams who made us proud at the OCAA Badminton Championship:

  • Moti Shams, Fitness & Health Promotion diploma program, captured gold in women’s singles
  • Hedieh Abbasbeiglou , Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Business Management degree program, and Tanya Sharma, Business diploma program, won silver in women’s doubles
  • Eric Peng, Supply Chain Management – Global Logistics graduate certificate program, and Anthony Tso, Child & Youth Care advanced diploma program, won bronze in men’s doubles

Men’s basketball

Following an overtime victory in the round of 16 on Saturday, Feb. 17, the men’s basketball team will face off against the Durham Lords in the quarter-finals of the OCAA Men's Basketball Championship.

Women’s volleyball

The women’s volleyball team is a semi-finalist for the OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship, which will be held on Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24 in Magna Hall, King Campus. All are welcome to come and cheer on the Sting!
