On April 4, the Alumni Panel Discussion was held at Seneca Downtown. Hosted by Seneca Alumni and the Law Clerk program, this was the first in-person panel discussion to take place since returning to campus last fall. The morning commenced with a welcome breakfast and a mix-and-mingle, allowing students to connect with alumni panelists over a morning cup of coffee.

Panelists gave insight on several topics of interest, including the importance of networking, transitioning from the classroom to the legal sector, and various legal recruitment and onboarding processes. Guest speakers also referenced their own unique career pathways since leaving Seneca’s Law Clerk program.

Thank you to the following alumni panelists who spent the morning with us sharing their professional journeys with our students:

  • Christina Boodhan, Family Law Clerk - Wharton Woods Family Law, and Registrar, Co-Chair Certification and Co-Chair Newsletter of ILCO
  • Athena Caldarola, Law Clerk - Justice for Children and Youth
  • Linda Gaspar, Senior Underwriter, Operations-Commercial Solutions - FCT
  • Nahid Islam, Law Clerk - McMillan LLP
  • Christopher Poirier, Senior Immigration Law Clerk - Baker, McKenzie LLP
