School of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Technology students had the opportunity to visit a leading transformer manufacturer and Seneca industrial partner – Atlas Transformer, for a glimpse of innovative ways to improve quality and efficiency in transformer manufacturing.
Led by Rakesh Kantaria, the students got to visit different stations at every step of the manufacturing line, giving them a thorough understanding and appreciation for the complexity of the operation.
Students were inquisitive and asked lots of questions. It was a fun and informative day that ultimately helped prepare students for the real world.
