ArcGIS | Software | Seneca Students

Students and faculty within the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering Technology can now download ArcGIS for desktop at no cost.

If you are enrolled in an eligible program, or are employed through one of the eligible schools, you can obtain a single-user license and the software to install ArcGIS on your home computer.

To obtain the ArcGIS for Desktop software:

1. Log into VPN. To log on, refer to VPN.
2. Launch a web browser and copy/paste this URL file://///mydrive.senecacollege.ca/courses/ to the browser.
3. If you are prompted to log in use your Seneca username and password
4. After logging in, click the folder GIS
5. Download ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.1
