Microsoft Teams is a communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent chat capabilities, video conferencing, file storage, and integration with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint. The platform is part of Seneca’s license of Microsoft 365 apps and services.

Access

  • License — All active students are eligible for a Seneca Teams licensed account.
  • Creating a Team — Only employees have access to create a Team site.

Signing in

To sign into Microsoft Teams with your Seneca license, enter your Seneca email and password.  

Here are ways you can access Microsoft Teams:

  • Desktop app — It is recommended to use the Teams app on your computer.  If you would like to install Teams on a personal computer, visit the Microsoft Teams Download site.
  • Mobile app — The Teams app is also available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
  • Web browser — To access Teams on your browser, sign in at teams.microsoft.com.
