Seneca wins three CICan Awards of Excellence

Seneca has been recognized with three 2023 Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Awards of Excellence.

The awards, which will be giving out during CICan’s annual conference in April, recognize best practices from postsecondary institutions across the country as well as individual leadership and achievement.

Seneca was awarded one gold and two bronze in the following categories: 

  • Excellence in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award — Gold
    Seneca’s Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Applied Research and Innovation Excellence Award — Bronze
    Seneca Innovation
  • Leadership Excellence Award for Faculty — Bronze
    Founders of the Virtual Roundtable, School of English & Liberal Studies professors Erin Dolmage, Jamie Zeppa and Mary Trant.
