Seneca President David Agnew announced the new name of the recently-renovated food space at Newnham Campus during The Newnham Service Hub and the Cafeteria Grand Opening event on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Thoughtfully renamed, The Pond, the name pays homage to the campus’s history, as there used to be a a small pond at Newnham that was enjoyed by the Seneca community.

President Agnew also unveiled the Reciprocity Mural, a stunning floor-to-ceiling art display, with JoAnn Purcell, Program Co-ordinator, Faculty of Communication, Art & Design, and Lead Producer and Art Director of the Reciprocity Mural. Seneca graduates who assisted with the creation of the mural were on hand to help cut the ribbon of the new space.

President Agnew also officially launched The Service Hub’s onsite location at Newnham Campus with help from Radha Krishnan, CIO and Vice-President, Customer Support and The Service Hub team.
