Seneca's flags are at half-mast to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) and will continue to fly at half-mast until until 8 a.m. on the day after the State funeral on Monday, Sept. 19.

“Her Majesty began her reign pledging to serve, and did so brilliantly till the very end of her long, rich life. She was extraordinary, and the world is poorer for her loss,” said President David Agnew.

As part of the provincial day of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II, Seneca will be observing a moment of silence at 1 p.m. on Sept. 19.

Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral is being broadcast on campus at the following locations:
