Seneca’s hockey superstar named to the Order of Canada

Angela James, Seneca graduate and retiree, has been named to the Order of Canada. Ms. James was appointed as a member for her contributions to women’s sport in Canada.

Dubbed the first superstar of women’s hockey, Ms. James has many accolades including winning four World Championship gold medals and being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame and the Black Hockey and Sports Hall of Fame.
