Students medal at Skills Ontario Competition

For the fourth year in a row, Seneca students have earned top honours at the Skills Ontario Competition. During the annual event, students showed off their skills in a variety of contests across the technology and trade sectors.

Congratulations to the following students who received a medal at the competition:

Technology category:

  • Maxim Gontcharenko — gold in Electronics
  • Pradeepa Kumarasamy — bronze medal in IT Office Software Applications
  • Gerardo Arriaga Rendon — bronze medal in Coding

Industrial category:

  • Mark Macario — gold in Precision Machining
  • Kian Hassan-Tehrani and Matin Zalpour — gold in Mechatronics
  • Tyler Schuette — silver in Precision Machining
  • Tarrick Karim — bronze in Computer Aided Manufacturing
  • Jonathan Stewart — bronze in Mechanical CAD

Mr. Hassan-TehranI, Mr. Zalpour, Mr. Gontcharenko and Mr. Macario will represent Team Ontario in the Skills Canada National Competition later this month.
