As we celebrate Earth Day, it’s important to learn about ways we can restore and protect our planet for future generations.

One of the ways you can help is by working on the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). You can learn and contribute to the goals through the UN’s SDG Students Program. It offers you the chance to learn more about actions you can take to be an effective changemaker and gives you the opportunity to complete a free certification.

You can also apply to participate in the World Wildlife Fund Canada’s Designing Change for a Living Planet competition, which will be held on Saturday, June 11, Sunday, June 12 and Saturday, June 18. It’s open to postsecondary students from across the country who have ideas to help protect and restore nature in their communities. Submit your application by Sunday, May 29.
