ECE students engage in an immersive lab experience

ECE students engage in an immersive lab experience

Over a period of four weeks, first semester students in the May 2023 Term Early Childhood Education (ECE) program, along with lab educators and faculty, engaged in immersive play lab experiences in the ECE lab studios at King Campus.

Students explored the role of the educator and learned about theories in foundational concepts of play and pedagogy.

In addition to creating a greater sense of community, the collaborative and experiential hands-on learning experiences resulted in students feeling better prepared, supported and eager to begin their field practicum placements.

A special thank you to Seneca Alumni for generously supporting this initiative.
