Residence

Living in residence makes the transition to being on your own easy, convenient and fun and can be one of the most memorable and rewarding times of your life.

While in residence, you will have access to our Residence Life team who will work with you to provide academic and personal support and to lead social events and activities. You’ll have the opportunity to gain independence, build friendships and experience life on campus.

Our furnished, apartment-style residences are located at the Newnham and King Campuses. The Newnham residence, open to students from all four campuses, has 1,100 spaces while the King residence, for students studying at King Campus, has 230 spaces. All of our residence suites include private bedrooms and bathrooms, televisions, Internet and ensuite kitchenettes with a fridge and microwave. Both residences offer study lounges for individual or group student sessions and a variety of social lounges for games, movies and other social activities.

Benefits of living on campus

Simple: No need to worry about a 12-month lease, furnishings or utility bills

Accessible: Buses, subway and GO stations are close to the Newnham residence

Helps you do better in school: Live near students in similar programs or with similar interests
